August Young Agents Network Newsletter
Summer is winding down and we are settling into my very favorite season, Fall. Or, as I like to refer to it, meeting, conference and convention season! September, brings company meetings, the IIABA Young Agents Leadership Institute, and a Region 1 & 2 Outing to see the Cardinals and the Cubs at Busch Stadium. After this, the Committee turns its focus to THE event of the fall. The IIA of Illinois CONVO 2017! We will once again be hosting Casino Night, benefiting Make-a-Wish. This has been a big success for us the past few years, so please join us, and remember, it's for the kids!

But, before we get to all the hustle and bustle that the end of year brings, there is one event of the Summer I'd like to reflect back on, the one that took Independent Insurance Agents of Illinois by storm.

June 2nd, 2017 was a day for the books! 516 participants, 771 hours donated, more than $14,700 raised, 26 agencies/companies involved, 22 events, and 16 charities! #IIADayOfGiving was everything we hoped it would be and MORE! Our YA committee and the IIA staff worked hard to make this day come together and we are so proud of all the agencies and companies who jumped in on our vision and participated for the good of our communities! We are hoping to make this event an annual one, so put on your thinking caps and getting ready to roll up your sleeves for 2018.

If you would like more information on the events I have mentioned above, or would like to learn more about becoming further involved with the Young Agents Network, please feel free to
